The Wurst EasyQuick Almond Chicken

Ingredients
- ¾ Cup Sliced almonds
- ¾ Cup Panko Japanese Bread Crumbs
- 1 Tbsp Dried Basil
- ½ tsp Celery Salt
- ½ tsp Minced Dried Onion
- ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
- ¼ – ½ tsp Paprika
- ¼ – ½ tsp Oregano Leaves
- 1 Pinch of Freshly Ground Pepper
- ½ Stick of Butter
- 2-3 Chicken Breasts
Instructions
- Take the sliced almonds and place in mini chopper.
- Pulse the mini chopper till almonds are chopped medium to fine grade. Do not over chop or you will have almond butter (like peanut butter)
- Combine almonds, bread crumbs, basil, celery salt, onion, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, pepper in a bowl and mix with a spoon.
- Melt the butter and get a basting brush.
- Place 3-5 spoonful of Nut/crumb mixture in bottom of the pan.
- Place chicken in pan.
- Take melted butter and brush on chick. You will not use all butter at this point.
- Take the Nut/Crumb mixture and cover the chicken.
- Take remaining butter and pour evenly over chicken/nut/crumb.
- Place the chicken covered in over for 15 minutes.
- Then uncover and cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes take chick and cut into it to see if cooked thoroughly.
- If not cook for another 5-10 minutes.
- Cook times may vary due to the size of chicken breasts, if large breast increase covered time by 10-15 minutes.
